Be Seen in the Dark with a Reflector

During the dark autumn and winter evenings in the Nordics, and especially in difficult weather conditions, visibility is poor, and pedestrians are at risk of traffic accidents because drivers cannot see them if they have nothing reflecting light back towards the car. When a driver finally sees a pedestrian at 50 meters away, it is often too late to brake or swerve at higher speeds or in oncoming situations. For this reason, everyone should get a reflector for their own safety and the safety of others, as a reflector extends the detection range to 350 meters.

Reflector production takes time, and they must be ordered in large quantities. At MEB, the minimum order quantity is 100 reflectors, but the more you order, the lower the production cost per piece. The price list includes 4-color printing, and the reflectors are delivered individually packaged with usage instructions.

Reflector Models

MEB offers three types of reflectors, each suited to different purposes:

Slap Reflector

The neon yellow arm strap reflector is one of the most well-known and widely used reflector models due to its central location and movement. For example, an arm strap reflector placed on the arm is easily visible to drivers, and the spring attachment makes it easy to secure: straighten the reflector and slap it on.

The central location is also great for visibility of the print. The upper arm is close to eye level, so it’s very likely that passersby will clearly see the print and recognize its message. The arm strap reflector measures 340x30mm.

Soft Reflector

This reflector model is available in different sizes and shapes, and printing can be done on one or both sides, allowing you to place a logo on one side and another element on the other.

The soft reflector can be attached in various ways and placed on different parts of the body, such as a jacket or bag. The advantage of this reflector model is that it swings in the wind or while moving, catching the attention of drivers.

Soft reflectors are made of highly reflective material that meets the EN 13356 standard, so you can move around safely.

Hard Prism Reflector

Prism reflectors are classic reflectors. The hard plastic reflectors are more durable than soft reflectors but are only available in specific shapes and limited colors. Additionally, printing is only available on one side of these reflectors. The attachment options are the same as for soft reflectors.

These reflectors are made of polystyrene and are recyclable as they are.
